In the imposing former Kurhaus you’ll feel the atmosphere from the olden days combined with a modern approach. .
Typical features of the hotel include the generous rooms with wooden floors and large windows, a majestic staircase and a distinctive atmosphere. The large dining room, which is also used as a reception room for weddings and other large parties, can easily accomodate 120 or more guests. In the large lounge are many seating areas where you can make yourself comfortable at all times.
The cosy “Arvenstube” is our in-house bar/café where you can enjoy coffee with “Bündner Nusstorte” (nutcake) or a drink. Other facilities include a library, a large playroom, a pool table and a disco. We also have a massage room where there’s often the possibility to enjoy a massage.
The different floors (there are 11 in total) are connected by a stately staircase, but we also have a lift.
The 68 heated bedrooms are all individually decorated. Like the rest of the building, we have tried to maintain the original décor as much as possible. All rooms are equipped with hot and cold running water, showers are located along the corridors.
In the 1960s, some of the rooms were redecorated and had their own toilets installed.
Around the hotel, you’ll find several seating areas, on the wind-free sun terrace, on the panoramic terrace by the hotel, the benches right outside the hotel (with smoking area), by the bonfire area and above the adventurous playground. There are countless lovely spots around the hotel. Children love building dams and playing in the water by the nearby stream “the Brancla”, and from the sunny meadow you have a great view of the hotel.
